Join us for the traditional St. Martin’s Feast in Slovenske Konjice! On Saturday, November 9th, from 3 PM onward, we’ll be celebrating the transformation of grape must into fine wine in the town square. Enjoy a pleasant gathering outside the Culture Hall, complete with vintage bike rides, brass band music, charity stalls, and meeting with local winemakers from the Dravinja Valley. Under the large festival tent, you’ll find diverse local cuisine, folklore performances, a blessing of the young wine, and live music by Ansambel Banovšek. This year, we’ve added reusable tasting tokens, crafted from recycled plastic by the local company Ramax, to our traditional tasting glass with the Konjice coat of arms, enhancing our ‘Zero Waste’ initiative. For a bit of nostalgia, join us in the St. Martin’s cinema, where we’ll revive memories of classic Slovenian films.
